Directions

For each day you have an assignment:

a) make sure you are signed in with your Google account
b) choose the episode you are reacting to
c) scroll down the page, where a box will appear
d) fill in the box with your first name (only) first, followed by your reaction
e) post at minimum of one paragraph (5-6 sentences), but it can be more.

Here are some things you might want to consider.  You don't need to do all of them - just pick one or two:

1 - How do you think you would have felt in some of the situations you are witnessing?  How do you think you would have reacted?

2 - What connections can you see between what you watched today and some of the more recent racial issues in our society?  How are they similar, and how are they different?

3 - At its core, what do you think caused some of the racism you witnessed in this episode or what you have seen in our country more recently? How can racism be fought?

4 - What is something said in today's episode that really stuck with you and why?

5 - If you have heard of an incident covered in today's episode, was seeing it different than hearing about it?  Was it different than you had imagined?  How so?

6 - Anything else you want to talk about connected to "Eyes on the Prize" or the issues we are discussing is fine.
